D.C. Lawmakers Advance Business-Friendly Bill for the Capital
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Lawmakers in the capital are moving forward with a revised medical marijuana bill poised to make significant business-friendly changes to local regulations, including tax deductions. “Rather than make technical and minor changes to the bill as introduced, the Committee Print [revised bill] takes a more holistic approach by making it easier for patients to access medical cannabis, removing unnecessary caps and restrictions on the number of licenses, and prioritizing equity for new licenses, among many other amendments to the statute.
